MY APPROACH

I believe that everybody's life experience matters and that everyone deserves to be heard. I welcome all people to my practice - adults of all ages, races, gender identities and sexual orientations.

My approach is hopeful, driven by a belief in our capacity for change. I'm curious about how personal freedom to make choices, to express oneself, and to take responsibility gets limited in living.

My way of working - which is informed by various branches of philosophy, and most importantly, ethics - wonders about your unique experiences, the beliefs that inform you and how you deal with life’s difficulties, taking interest in both the ‘everyday’ and the ‘big questions’ of your existence. We explore past, present and future to make sense of what's going on for you now.

My role is to understand, and support you in greater self-understanding. I do not diagnose, cure, fix or advise; instead, I provide an opportunity for dialogue out of which new things may be discovered.

My approach is existential-phenomenological, with an integrative element

WHAT I OFFER

Therapy offers something unique - a space in your life that is just yours, where you can bring the unsayable and explore who you are. We slow things down and open them up, so you can reflect on and reframe your experiences and grow your self-awareness.

Through our live relationship, I may shed light on how you relate to others, challenge you to look at things afresh, illuminate unrecognised parts of you, support you in making sense of your struggle and really listen. Here you may process your past, find clarity in your present, and explore new possibilities for your future.  â€‹
